New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode will partner with Guru Ghasidas University Bilaspur for a student exchange programme under Phase IV of Yuva Sangam. Yuva Sangam is an initiative that focuses on organizing educational tours for the youth, including on-campus and off-campus students, from one state to another.

The Yuva Sangam is conducted by the Education Ministry under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharath (EBSB) campaign. Interested undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD students and youths in the age group of 18 to 30 years can register through the Yuva Sangam Portal. The selection criteria and other information is available on the official website, ebsb.aicte-india.org.

Students from Kerala and Lakshadweep can register for the programme on or before February 4, 2024. A total of 45 students/youth will be selected based on the eligibility criteria and their requirements. The students will visit Chhattisgarh in April or May. The host institutes will bear charges for accommodation, food, and travel. The program will also witness 45 students delegation from Chhattisgarh in Kerala which will be hosted by IIM Kozhikode for a five-day stay.

Director of IIM Kozhikode, Debashis Chatterjee said, “Yuva Sangam aligns with the key themes in National Education Policy by focusing on experimental learning and imbibing knowledge of the rich diversity of the country on a first-hand basis. It is a great opportunity for the students of Kerala to join the celebration of diversity at its core and gain an immersive experience of diverse national landforms, development landmarks, and recent achievements.”
