IIM Kozhikode MBA Admission 2026 Policy Released

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has officially released the PGP Admission Policy and Procedure for the 2026–2028 batch, confirming that there is no change in the CAT cutoff for the upcoming admission cycle. As per the policy, the CAT 2025 qualifying cutoff for the General category remains at 85 percentile, consistent with previous years.

As per admission guidelines, IIM Kozhikode will follow a three-stage selection process for its flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP). In Stage 1, candidates who have opted must meet the minimum eligibility criteria, including securing a positive scaled score in all sections of CAT 2025.

IIM Kozhikode 2026 Stage 2: Shortlisting for PI

Stage 2 applies to all eligible candidates who completed Stage 1 registration for IIMK admission and determines those to be called for a personal interview (PI). A shortlist is created in each category based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is calculated based on performance in CAT 2025, Class X, Class XII, gender and academic diversity criteria, and work experience. The component weightages are as follows:

IIM Kozhikode Stage 3: Final Selection 2026

In Stage 3, shortlisted candidates will appear for the WAT and PI, to be conducted across multiple cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, and New Delhi. The final merit list will be prepared using CAT 2025 scores (35%), PI performance (35%), WAT (20%), and resume score (10%), strictly adhering to Government of India reservation norms.

Stage 1 is only a pre-PI registration and does not ensure an interview call.
