IIM Nagpur has announced that it will not be conducting a separate counseling process and will be participating in the IIM CAP 2024 Counselling Process.
New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM Kashipur) has announced that it will be conducting the IIM CAP 2024 Rounds for admission to MBA and PGP Programs at the participating IIMs. It has also started the registration process for IIM CAP Counselling. The registration deadline is January 29, 2024.

According to the CAP Coordinator Prof Maiti, “The Personal Interview (PI) Shortlisting Notification and Online registration will open tentatively in the last week of January 2024.” Eligible candidates will be able to register through the official website using their CAT ID and password.
What is IIM CAP 2024?
IIM CAP 2024 will be conducted by IIM Kashipur for admission to the 9 participating baby IIMs i.e; IIM Bodh Gaya, Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Sirmaur, Trichy, Udaipur, Jammu. This year along with the 9 IIMs, IIM Nagpur has also joined the CAP 2024 Counselling Process making it the 10th IIM.

The Common Admission Process (CAP) is a common counselling procedure for these IIMs. Those participating in CAP 2024 need not sit for individual counselling rounds of the colleges. However, Final Admission offers are finalized and released by the respective IIMs using different weightages for IIM CAP Round scores, CAT performance and other parameters.

How to Register for IIM CAP 2024?
You can follow the below-mentioned steps to register for IIM CAP 2024:
- Visit the official IIM CAP website.
- Click on ‘New Registration’ or ‘Login’ under the Login/ Register section.
- For a new registration, enter your CAT ID, Email ID, and Date of Birth and then click on ‘Register Now’
- If already registered, then log in with your CAT ID and password.
- Enter personal, academic, and other details asked.
- Upload the documents in the prescribed format for successful registration
- Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
