IIM Kashipur Secures Highest 4 Star Rating in Education Ministry’s IIC Rankings

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur has set a new benchmark by achieving the highest honour of a 4-star rating in the Education Ministry's Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) ratings.

This year, IIM Kashipur has excelled by achieving a remarkable top rating of 4, surpassing its previous year's 3.5 rating and standing as the sole institute among participating IIMs to attain the prestigious four-star rating. 

With this achievement, the institute has joined a select group of national universities, including leading Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to receive this esteemed ranking.

Praises for IIM Kashipur's 4-Star Triumph in IIC Rankings

Speaking on this occasion, IIM Kashipur officials said, “The institute has achieved this feat with sincere efforts of its Incubation Centre - Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (FIED) which has been undertaking innovations, entrepreneurship and start-up initiatives, and collaborative innovation activities in association with the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) at the Institute”.

According to Safal Batra, Managing Director of Fied and Chairperson of E-Cell at IIM Kashipur, “We are proud of this prestigious achievement. The ranking has been awarded based on various activities”.

“It is a testament to the forward-looking, innovative, and encouraging entrepreneurial culture fostered at the Institute that empowers our nation’s youth for a better future. We are happy that we are one of the top academic institutions, acknowledged for promoting Innovation and Start-up on campus”, he further added.

According to Himanshu Dua, Founder of My Pahadi Dukan, “While incubated at IIM Kashipur FIED, My Pahadi Dukan underwent a transformative evolution in supply chain innovation. The institute's guidance empowered us to optimise operations through technology, significantly boosting our efficiency. IIM Kashipur FIED served as a catalyst, nurturing inventive solutions that empowered My Pahadi Dukan to effectively tackle market challenges with a robust and adaptable supply chain”.
