IIM Indore Signs MoU with University of Denver to Launch Global Leadership Program; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Indore) has collaborated with University of Denver to launch a Global Leadership Experience Programme for C-Suites. The aim of the partnership is to empower senior executives to enhance their leadership potential on a global scale.

The MoU between the two institutes was signed on March 28, 2024 between Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, and Provost Mary L Clark, Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor, University of Denver.

Prof. Rai expressed his delight in the partnership and emphasised how the newly launched course will provide senior executives with a profound and transformative journey for a duration of eight months.“With a thoughtful integration of insights from both Indian and Western leadership paradigms, participants will acquire a comprehensive and contemporary understanding of leadership theories and practices”, he said.

“The objectives of each stage are meticulously designed to equip participants with essential leadership competencies, including personal branding, effective communication, strategic thinking, and crisis management”, said Prof. Rai. The participating students will get the opportunity to engage with industry experts, collaborate with peers, and implement their learnings through real-world projects.

Provost Clark also expressed delight over the collaboration with IIM Indore and said, “By bringing together the best of Indian and Western leadership practices, we aim to empower senior executives to navigate complex business landscapes with confidence and agility”.

The programme is divided into five modules, each designed to provide the participants with a successful leadership development journey. It will begin with a 5-day leadership module hosted at IIM Indore. It will provide the participants with foundational insights into leadership dynamics. The next phase consists of online masterclasses conducted by distinguished Indian leaders from corporate, political, and entrepreneurial spheres, enriching participants with diverse perspectives and real life experiences.

Following this, the third phase unfolds with another 5-day leadership module at the University of Denver, offering participants exposure to Western leadership paradigms. Transitioning to the fourth phase, participants engage in a capstone project, fostering practical application of acquired knowledge. Finally, in the fifth phase, participants return to IIM Indore for project submission and a closing ceremony.

The programme is tailored for senior executives holding key positions within their organizations, providing them with invaluable insights and strategies to drive organizational success in today’s dynamic business environment.
