IIM CAP 2026 PI Schedule Announced

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) participating in CAP 2026 will conduct the Personal Interview (PI) rounds from February 23 to March 31, 2026. Candidates shortlisted through CAT 2025 must attend the interview in offline mode at their allotted centres.

Reporting time differs for forenoon and afternoon slots. Applicants are advised to carry all required original documents and strictly follow the official instructions to avoid disqualification.

Candidates must report strictly within the allotted time slot. Late entry may not be permitted.

Forenoon Slot 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM February 23 – March 31, 2026
Afternoon Slot 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM February 23 – March 31, 2026

Candidates must remain at the venue until their PI process is fully completed.

The CAP 2026 process includes IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, and IIM Sirmaur. These institutes will conduct the Personal Interview under a common admission process, but the final selection criteria may differ slightly for each IIM.

Candidates attending the PI must carry all original documents along with photocopies, including the CAT 2025 scorecard, valid photo ID proof, Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates, UG and PG marksheets (if applicable), degree or provisional certificates, work experience documents, valid category certificate (if applicable), and certificates for extra-curricular achievements.

Failure to present the required documents may lead to cancellation of candidature.

Applicants must reach the venue within their assigned reporting time and remain available until the interview process is fully completed. Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited during the PI. Candidates should also regularly check their inbox, spam, and promotion folders for official communication and updates.

During the interview, the panel will assess the candidate’s academic performance, work experience quality, communication skills, personality, and overall attitude. Aspirants should revise their core academic subjects, clearly define their career goals, and be prepared to confidently explain their work profile and achievements.

After the completion of PI rounds on March 31, 2026, participating IIMs will release the final merit list based on CAT score, PI performance, academic background, and work experience.

Shortlisted candidates will then move forward to the admission confirmation stage, which includes document verification and fee payment.
