IIM Bangalore is set to enter the undergraduate education space in 2026. The institute has launched BSc (Hons) programmes in Economics and Data Science.

IIM Bangalore has officially opened admissions for its first-ever undergraduate programmes. The institute will accept applications for the B.Sc (Hons) in Economics and B.Sc (Hons) in Data Science from the second week of October 2025, with classes set to begin in August 2026.
Both programmes will have an initial intake of 40 students each. The courses will be offered at IIMB’s upcoming Jigani campus, located approximately 27 km from its main Bannerghatta Road campus in Bengaluru.
IIM Bangalore UG Admission - Eligibility Criteria
Admission to the programmes will be based on a national-level entrance test followed by a personal interview. Applicants must be below 20 years of age (22 for reserved categories) as of August 1, 2025, and must have scored at least 60% in Mathematics in Class 12 and an overall 60% in Class 10.
