IIM Amritsar has released the new CAT cutoffs for admissions to the MBA program for A.Y. 2025-27.
Indian Institute of Management Amritsar has updated the CAT cutoff scores and selection parameters admission for admission to its MBA course for the academic session 2025-27. Candidates appearing for CAT 2024 on November 24 can check for the updates.
IIM Amritsar MBA CAT Cut off 2025-27
The overall CAT cutoff percentile for MBA has increased from 88 to 90 for General & EWS and 78 to 80 for OBC.

IIM Amritsar MBA 2025-27 Admission Eligibility
The admission process will be conducted in two phases: a) shortlisting candidates for personal interview and, b) shortlisting candidates for admission to the MBA program.
- The combined score of factors like 10th & 12th board exam marks, graduation marks, quality of Work Experience, Gender & Academic Diversity, and the candidate’s CAT score will judge the candidate’s eligibility for MBA admission.
- Candidates appearing for their final year exam, their marks from up to one year before the final exams will be used in the admission process.
- Candidates have to complete all exam requirements for bachelor’s/ qualifying degree by June 30, 2025.

IIM Amritsar MBA 2025-27 Selection Procedure
- Candidates appearing for CAT 2024 are eligible for the 1st phase (Pre-Personal Interview) of the admission process.
- Candidates who secure the pre-determined CAT score and positive scores in all sections of CAT 2024 are eligible.
- Candidates will be selected for the 2nd phase (Personal Interview) based on the Pre-PI results.
- Pre-PI scores and PI scores together will be used to select the candidates for admission to MBA 2025-27.
