Under the ICCR Scholarship graduates receive a stipend of INR 18000 per month, post-graduate receive a stipend of INR 20000 per month and PhD students receive a stipend of INR 22000 per month.

SII Scholarship (Study in India Scholarship)

SII Scholarship is a study in India scholarship. In collaboration with the MHRD and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Study in India offers international students scholarships to pursue a range of undergraduate and graduate programmes at Indian higher education institutions. Nearly 2000 scholarships have been given by SII to overseas students all over the world for the 2020 – 21 academic year.

The value of each scholarship is US dollars 3500 per student per year. Only tuition, housing, food, and entry costs are covered by each scholarship offered under the SII programme.

AYUSH Scholarship

International students may apply for the AYUSH Scholarship if they seek to study traditional undergraduate and graduate programmes in Ayurveda, yoga, unani, siddha, and homoeopathy in India. The Government of India has granted this scholarship with full funding. The "Scholarship in India" team also advises foreign students on how to properly apply for the AYUSH Scholarship to study in India. 

 AYUSH Scholarship is available for various courses like Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), B. Sc in yoga, BA in Yoga Shastra, MD in Ayurveda, MD in Siddha, MD in Homeopathy, MD in Unani, PhD in Ayurveda and PhD in Unani. In AYUSH scholarship scheme under graduates receives a stipend of INR 18000 per month, post graduate receive a stipend of INR 20000 per month and PhD students receives stipend of INR 22000 per month.

GCSS Scholarship (General Cultural Scholarship Scheme)

GCSS stands for General Cultural Scholarship Scheme. Under this programme, scholarships are given each year to foreign students from specific Asian, African, and Latin American nations for undergraduate and graduate studies as well as for conducting research at Indian universities. The honble Prime Minister of India declared the Government of India's initiative to improve the academic opportunities for students from African countries studying in India through increasing the number of scholarships for them to pursue under-graduate, post-graduate, and higher courses at the opening session of the India-Africa Forum Summit held in New Delhi. GSS does not provide financial aid for medical degrees like MBBS or BDS or for medical research leading to doctoral degrees.

Under this scheme student gets INR 5000 per month as living allowances, INR 5000 per month as House Rent Allowances, INR 5000 per month as contingent grant, and INR 7000 once in an entire course for thesis and dissertation expenses.
