At the time of admission, selected candidates must bring a Xerox copy of the registration form, an admit card, and their matriculation certificate.
The University of Delhi has announced the list of candidates who have been tentatively selected for its PhD in Linguistics program for the 2025 academic year. Candidates whose names appear on the list are invited for a physical admission and document verification procedure on January 8, 2025, at 4 PM, after which they will be admitted to the university's PhD program.

Students having their name in the list of candidates provisionally selected for the University of Delhi PhD in Linguistics program must follow the admission schedule mentioned below:

DU PhD in Linguistics Documents Required
Candidates must have with them the self-attested and original copy of the below-listed document at the time of admission for verification
- Xerox Copy of the registration form
- Admit card
- Matriculation certificate
- Past academic certificates from class 10 onwards
- A migration certificate for candidates getting transferred from another university
- Certificate of marks gained in all subjects at the final test
- Certificate indicating that you belong to a reserved category, if applicable.
- Any other relevant certificates according to the university's regulations.
After the successful completion of document verification process, candidates will receive their admission status on the email address they have provided at the time of submission of application. Candidates not being able to submit any of the above written documents will be self reliable for the loss of their admission opportunity.
