Process for Participation
All the candidates included in the Merit List of Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) are eligible to participate in the 8th Online round.
Those candidates who did not participate in any previous round with ACPUGMEC after registration can also partake in the 8th Round Choice filing.
For involvement in the 8th round, candidates must log in to the DME website using their User ID and Password to provide ONLINE CONSENT for participation in the eighth online round.
If a candidate who confirmed admission (Only BAMS/BHMS Courses) in the previous round and consented to participate in the eighth round is allocated a new and different seat, the admission from the previous round will be automatically cancelled.
If candidates participate in the 8th round of ACPUGMEC, and their admission does not undergo an upgrade, their previous admission will be maintained.
Candidates who secured admission in MBBS/BDS courses up to round 04 will not be permitted to partake in the 8th round.
Whether a candidate participated or refrained from participating in the 8th Round, the admission from the previous round can still be upgraded within the same college by changing the admission category (e.g., ST/SC/SEBC/EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat). There is no need to visit the help center to confirm admission in such cases.
