Delhi University’s mop-up round this year covers 63 colleges and 187 distinct courses, giving students plenty of options to secure a seat. While some colleges have a high number of vacant seats, making it easier to get admission, others are in high demand, with very few seats left. Among the colleges with the most vacant seats, Bhagini Nivedita College (W) leads with 703 seats, followed by Aditi Mahavidyalaya (W) with 508, Swami Shardhanand College with 482, Kalindi College (W) with 402, Zakir Husain Delhi College with 390, Shyam Lal College with 330, Dyal Singh College with 323, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women (W) with 323, Bharati College (W) with 316, and Lakshmibai College (W) with 294.

Documents Required for DU Mop-Up Round Admission 2025
The mop-up round will require candidates to bring original documents:
- Invitation letter with reporting date and time
- CSAS (UG) application form
- Class 12 marksheet and certificate
- Class 10 marksheet or date of birth certificate
- Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.)
- Reservation/Category certificate, if applicable
The university clarified that appearance in the mop-up round does not guarantee admission, as the final allocation will depend on merit, availability of seats and proper documentation.
The advisory also urged candidates to use the Delhi Metro (Yellow Line) to reach Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station, carry essentials like water, and maintain a sufficient bank balance for fee payment, as failure to deposit fees on the spot will lead to cancellation of the offer.
Registration for the mop-up round was open from September 17, 2025, to September 19 and is now closed. Only those who registered on time are eligible for on-the-spot admission. For details, check the DU UG Mop-Up Round 2025 Notification.
