The Central University of Tamil Nadu has released the application for registration in the National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2025 for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). Candidates interested in applying can do so by visiting the URL provided below on or before March 16, 2025.

Candidates interested in applying for the Central University of Tamil Nadu National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2025 for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) must adhere to the admission schedule outlined below:

The following lists the main information about the Central University of Tamil Nadu National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2025:

Mode of the Test Computer Based Test (CBT)
Test Pattern Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions
Medium 13 languages: English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Bengali, and Assamese.
Language: Language will be examined through reading comprehension, literary aptitude, and vocabulary.
Domain Subject: According to the Class 12 syllabus alone.
Syllabus General Test: General knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning, logical and analytic reasoning, environmental literacy, and so on.
Teaching Aptitude: Topics on teaching science, arts, mathematics, performing arts, languages, and so on.

Candidates who will take the NCET 2025 will be able to participate in the Counselling/Admission process at any Central/State University / Institution (IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges, among others) that has been recognized by NCTE for ITEP for the academic year 2025–26. Following that, the unfilled seats may be filled by NCET-qualified candidates from the pool of universities, institutions, and government colleges, among others.
