COMEDK UGET 2026 Records 1.1 Lakh Attendance; Answer Key May 13 at 12 Noon

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental Colleges of Karnataka successfully conducted COMEDK UGET 2026 on May 9, 2026 across 400 exam centres nationwide. Around 85% of registered candidates appeared for the engineering entrance test, with 1,10,787 students attending out of 1,30,620 registrations. Karnataka recorded 88% attendance while Bengaluru achieved nearly 90% attendance.

COMEDK UGET 2026 was held in two shifts on a single day in computer-based test format with 180 multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The exam determines merit for admission to 20,000 engineering seats across 150 COMEDK member colleges in Karnataka and other states. This centralized entrance test ensures fair, transparent, and merit-based admissions followed by online counselling.

How to Download COMEDK 2026 Answer Key Once Out?

• Candidates can download the provisional answer key from the official COMEDK website at comedk.org starting May 13, 2026 at 12 noon.
• Log in using your application number and password to access the answer key for your specific shift and subject combination.
• The answer key will display correct answers for all 180 questions across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections.

Students who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can raise objections between May 13 and May 15, 2026 (11:00 AM). Each objection requires a fee of Rs. 500, with a maximum of Rs. 2,500 for multiple challenges. Candidates must submit objections with supporting documents and evidence through the official portal during the specified window.

• Select the question(s) you wish to challenge and provide detailed reasoning with supporting evidence.

Final Answer Key and Result Timeline

COMEDK will review all objections submitted by candidates and release the final answer key on May 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM. The final answer key will be used to prepare merit lists and calculate candidate scores. Score cards and rank cards will be made available on May 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM on the official website.

Downloading the Score Card and Rank Card

Candidates can download their score cards and rank cards from comedk.org by logging in with their application number and password. The rank card will display your percentile score, rank, and category-wise ranking. Hard copies of rank cards are not dispatched; candidates must download and print them from their login portal.

Following result declaration on May 26, 2026, eligible candidates will proceed to the centralized online counselling process. Counselling will include registration, choice filling for colleges and courses, seat allotment in multiple rounds, and document verification. Candidates must report to their allotted college within the specified deadline to secure their admission.
