Along with the release of the third allotment list, candidates who are allotted seats are required to pay the confirmation fee to the Consortium if they choose the Freeze or Float option.
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has published the CLAT 2026 UG Third Allotment List on February 25, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. With this announcement, the UG Third round of CLAT 2026 counselling has begun at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Candidates who appeared for the CLAT 2026 exam will be able to check their seat allotment through the official counselling portal. The Third allotment list mentions the name of the National Law University (NLU) allotted to candidates based on their rank, preference, and seat availability.
Along with the release of the Third allotment list, candidates who are allotted seats are required to pay the confirmation fee to the Consortium if they choose the Freeze or Float option. The payment window for the confirmation fee and admission process for the Third allotment list will remain open from 10:00 A.M. on February 25, 2026, to 1:00 P.M. on March 6, 2026.

CLAT 2026 UG Third Round Counselling Important Documents
- Class 10 (Grade 10) Marksheet.
- CLAT 2026 Admit Card.
- Class 12 (Grade 12) Marksheet.
- Character / Conduct Certificate from the last educational institution attended.
- Transfer / Migration Certificate from the last educational institution attended.
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC, etc.), if applying under a reserved category.
- PWD/SAP Certificate, if applying under the PWD category.
- Domicile / Residence Certificate, if applying under the domicile/resident category.
- Any other supporting documents for the category applied (EWS, Defence, etc.).
Candidates who select the Freeze option in any round of CLAT counselling, from the first to the fifth round, must pay the remaining university fees at the National Law University (NLU) allotted within the prescribed deadline. For the first three rounds, the deadline to pay the balance university fee is April 24, 2026. Failure to do so will result in the seat being cancelled and the confirmation fee being forfeited.
