A seasoned management professional with 39 years of experience and exposure to education sector management at the apex level. After having served as Director of Asiapacific Institute of Management, New Delhi and as Registrar of M S Ramaiah University, he is now associated as Professor (Management) and Registrar in charge of Prestige University, Indore. In the past, he has worked with premier Institutions such as IIT, Indore as Registrar, IGNTU, a Central University governed by UGC and as a Faculty Member of IIM, Lucknow in Finance and Accounting Control Area with the additional responsibility of FA and CAO/ Secretary to BoG and had senior level exposure to institutional functioning including overseeing Administration, HR and Financial Management. Having done his PhD in the area of Financial Law he is now involved in developing governance systems of the education sector. Having started his career as the Comptroller and Auditor General of India as a Government Auditor, he had exposure to Audit of Public Sector Enterprises. In the education sector is actively pursuing institutional development as a profession with faculty interest in the area of Finance and Accounting Control, Business and Corporate Law with a focus on reforms in Financial Sector Laws.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

I specialise in teaching within the domains of finance and accounting, cost management, and commercial/business law. My expertise extends to overseeing statutory and legal compliance and coordinating with regulatory bodies. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I provide oversight for the Board, Academic Council, and Governing Body. Furthermore, I take charge of monitoring students' academic performance data throughout their entire academic journey, from registration to certification and graduation.

What would you like people to know about your institute they may not know?

Our university from Indore is pitching for a different ball game from the rest of the world, as it is planned to be set up on the lines of Ivy League universities. We are aiming to accomplish global standards and a wide network of stakeholders. It will be evident once the results start pouring in that we will be exhibiting in the next two years.
