Prof. K. Bhaskar Reddy is the Dean of the Apollo Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Apollo University. He is a B.Pham graduate with an M..Pharm (Pharmaceutics) postgraduate degree from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University along with a PhD from the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Telangana. He has more than 23 years of teaching and research experience. He has also served as Dean, Research and Development, Director, International Relations, Principal and Director in his previous institutions. Prof. Dr. K. Bhaskar Reddy is an accomplished professional renowned for his exceptional contributions to academia, administration, and research in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Reddy received the University Best Teacher Award from JNTUA, Anantapur Andhra Pradesh and also received the Young Scientist Award from DST, New Delhi. He has conducted nine DST, UGC and AICTE sponsored research projects, 16 consultancy projects, filed and published ten patents and granted three patents to his credit. He has published 59 international and 45 national journal publications and 11 international and 32 national conference publications. He has also guided 15 PhD scholars and two scholars are pursuing PhD. He has been an expert in the Selection and Board of Studies for 15 Universities/Institutes and is also a member of the NAAC Assessment Panel- Health Sciences.

This would not only enhance the quality of education but also motivate and retain talented faculty. For the students, my focus would be on providing them with a holistic learning experience. By ensuring a student-centric approach, we can empower them to excel both academically and in personal growth. Regarding administration, I'd advocate for transparency, effective communication, and data-driven decision-making. It's crucial to align the administrative processes with the academic and research goals of the institution.
