DR.B.S Moshal is the Chancellor at IMEC. He has authored over 10 books on business management and law and published 50 research articles on various topics in functional areas of management.

You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
I am very passionate about teaching and that is the main reason that keeps me connected. There are three aspects to this career, teaching, research, and academic administration. Also, when you teach young minds, you are innovative and always looking for creative ways of teaching. Education should develop the students holistically and mold their character morally. Also makes them more responsible towards society. The teaching profession is the only one that provides students with the opportunity to make these transformative changes part of the education sector allows people to have a direct and significant impact on the lives of students. Teachers, administrators, and educators in general have the opportunity to shape the minds of young people and contribute to the development of society. Working in the education industry often brings a strong sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Being the CHAIRPERSON OF IMEC COLLEGE, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
I follow the lion for leadership, my copyrighted concept of creating an alignment between thinking, feeling, and doing. A leader is one who leads from the front and makes others the best, influences and confidence build up.
My leadership style is one that seeks to inspire, motivate, and enable the IMEC College community to thrive. By embracing our shared vision and values and nurturing a supportive culture, I aim to lead IMEC College toward greater excellence and success in its mission of providing quality education and shaping future leaders.
Being the CHAIRMAN OF IMEC, how do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your COLLEGE?
Being the Chairman of IMEC, develop a strong brand identity for the college, highlighting its unique selling points and academic strengths. Position the college as a leading institution in specialized areas of expertise. Enhance the College's online presence with an updated and user-friendly website, active social media accounts, and engaging content showcasing achievements and events. We need a holistic approach to our program strategy and core programs to market and campus operations.

How does the curriculum of IMEC ensure the best practice of the industry?
We involve corporate partners in every aspect of our academics. From curriculum to summer internships, we receive strong support from our partner partners. We have unique programs such as Campus to Corporate and CEO Talk, where we invite top colleagues to our campus. It helps shape our students' thinking and develop their careers. One of the important aspects of higher education is the production of educated individuals who can provide engineering solutions to social problems. The following strategies are adopted by our organization to provide an enhanced interface with the industry.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the college and the students are?
As a leader, my role is to grow the department, lead the team to introduce new programs, nurture existing programs and revise courses to keep our students updated. We are contributing to all academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities organized by the university. It is responsible for fostering their intrinsic motivation to learn analytical and critical thinking.
