At INIFD we try to bridge down the education gap for students coming from different sections of society. The curriculum which we follow here is designed by LST which is the London School of Trend, hence it gives students international exposure which helps in improving their knowledge domain. Students are also well aware of the latest trends and market scenarios of their respective domains 

How much does the institute focus on practical learning?

“Students are provided a wide variety of assessments and professional training programs”

The courses which are being taught in our college follow a 70 – 30 rule, where 70 percent of the course is practically based and 30 percent is theoretical. Regular assignments are taken to keep students updated and improve their knowledge. Apart from that, knowledge transfer sessions are delivered by industry experts to make our students ready for the challenges they will be facing in the outside world. 

What is the institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

We are in collaboration with a lot of international platforms such as London fashion week, New York Fashion Week, Lakme and many more. We also want to create a holistic platform for the students and provide them with all the possible facilities for their robust careers. Therefore, we will be associating with other international platforms and mentors to provide a better platform for the students.

What makes your college unique in comparison to others?

We are globally recognized for Fashion and Interior Design and we are also one of the top institutes in India. If we talk about our association, we have been in partnership with various international platforms such as Lakme Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week and London Fashion week. Apart from that, we have Manish Malhotra and Twinkle Khanna as our mentors which makes our institute unique. The curriculum which is taught in our college is designed by the London school of design providing students with an international platform. 

What extracurricular activities are organized by the college to enhance the skills of the students?

One of the best ways for you to move forward and achieve your life’s goals is by learning from the people who are already successful. By opening your heart to listen to their advice, you will probably reach your goals much faster. It is important to focus on the kind of attitude that you choose to display when you are at work turning your dreams into reality, rather than what you already know. There is a lot of misconception among the students related to design and fashion courses. A person perusing the courses related to fashion design or interior design can go along various career options.
