Dr. Manzoor Ahmed is the Dean (Academics) at Doon Group of Colleges, Dehradun. He has completed his B.Sc and M.Sc degree from HNB Garhwal Central University (Forestry). He has over 9 years of experience as a Dean and three years of teaching experience.

We boast one of the best libraries in all of Dehradun colleges which is well equipped with big Journals, conference papers, Books and other scholarly articles. Moreover, We have quality faculty in all the departments who are passionate about research and teaching and prioritize student welfare .

How does the curriculum of Doon Group of Colleges ensure the best practice of industry?

"Our curriculum and syllabus is most suitable for agriculture related companies" 

As I mentioned earlier, our focus is on practical knowledge so that students are industry-ready. Moreover, some students go for entrepreneurship and explore other business-related opportunities in the field of agriculture and allied sciences. 

What are your roles and responsibilities to the institute and the students?

What are the opportunities available for the growth of students including?

"We have a dedicated training and placement cell for internships and placements of students"

Many students go into corporate giants both in core and non-tech companies. At core, some of the companies visiting our campus are Incorp, Mahindra Agricorp, Reliance and UPL-Agricultural solutions and agricultural technologies. Moreover, we conduct time to time seminars for Knowledge transfer from esteemed and established professionals and faculties.
