Lakshman Kumar currently serves as the Director of Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Systems & Management. As the director of a business school, we believe that it is important to take care of the needs of all stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and the community. Team Heads will play a key role in providing a smooth experience for all stakeholders by Communicating effectively: The administration department communicates regularly with all stakeholders to keep them informed of important developments and gather feedback. For example, we send emails to parents and students every semester beginning with what’s in store for them in the upcoming semester, activities, requirements, etc. Being responsive: The administration is responsive to the needs of all stakeholders. This means addressing their concerns and requests in a timely and efficient manner. We at VVISM create a positive and supportive environment for all stakeholders. This means fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and innovation. Students: At VVISM, faculty members offer support to students by offering academic advising, career counseling, and creating a positive student experience by organizing social events and activities. The CRD (Centre for Research Development) department is providing support to faculty by offering professional development opportunities, research support, and competitive salaries and benefits. VVISM partners with a variety of companies to offer internships to students. VVISM has a job placement office that helps students to get jobs after graduation. The placements Department and Training departments provide students with assistance with resume writing, cover letter writing, and interviewing skills. Rural Immersion for Social Empowerment is a CSR program in our institution that aligns with the broader goals of creating socially responsible citizens. We are committed to making a positive impact in the society. Every week, we invite our esteemed alumni to engage with our students, providing valuable insights into the dynamic world of corporate operations. This initiative ensures that our students stay informed about current developments in the corporate world. After the second semester, we offer our students the opportunity to participate in a two-month internship program. During this program, they will join a company and gain hands-on work experience. This experience will enable them to gain practical experience. Another distinctive aspect of our program is the annual revision of 20% of the syllabus, ensuring that students are continually updated with current information. Additionally, we allocate 20% of the total session to guest faculty, enriching the educational experience with diverse perspectives and industry insights. We employ a blended pedagogy approach, with the majority of our sessions conducted through the use of case studies.
