Most of the engineering aspirants go through the admission processes in universities where the intake of students for the B.Tech courses is done based on the scores obtained by them in class 12th. Such universities don't conduct any entrance exams to shortlist the students.

B.Tech Admission 2021: Based on Class 12 score
TNEA B.Tech Admissions 2021
The TNEA admissions are conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu. TNEA admissions are done on the basis of the scores obtained by the students in the class 12th. In order to be eligible for the TNEA B.Tech admissions 2021, a candidate must have secured at least 50% aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. However, the minimum percentage required for the reserved category students is 40%.
Punjab B.Tech Admissions 2021
The Punjab BTech admission process is conducted by the IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Admissions here are done considering the scores obtained in Class 12 and JEE Main exams. Candidates should have mandatorily studied physics and mathematics as main subjects along with chemistry/ computer science/ biotechnology/ biology as optional subjects in Class 12 to be eligible for the Punjab BTech admissions 2021.
Moreover, candidates with a diploma in engineering are also eligible for Punjab B.Tech admission. However, the candidates applying for the B.Tech courses through the JEE Main must have secured a valid score to be eligible.

Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP): B.Tech Admission 2021
The Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG), Rajasthan conducts the REAP process wherein the students must have secured 45% (40% for reserved category) in class 12 or any equivalent exam from RBSE, CBSE, or recognized board of education. Apart from that, the students must have taken mathematics and physics as mandatory subjects in class 12 along with any of the subjects including biotechnology, technical vocational subject/ computer science/ information technology/ informatics practices/ agriculture/ engineering graphics/ business studies, chemistry, and biology. However, candidates with a diploma in engineering are also eligible for the REAP process.
Madhya Pradesh B.Tech Admissions 2021
The MP BE admission process for admission in BE/ BTech courses in Madhya Pradesh is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE). The admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained by the students in Class 12 /JEE Main.
Candidates should have secured 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in Class 12 or equivalent exam from Madhya Pradesh Secondary Board or any other recognized board to be eligible for the MP BE admission. Besides, the candidates must have studied mathematics and physics as a mandatory subject along with biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or computer science as optional subjects. Since the MP BE admission process accepts the scores obtained in JEE Main, candidates having valid JEE Main scores are also eligible for MP B.Tech/BE admissions 2021.

Sastra University B.Tech Admission 2021
Sastra University (Deemed to be) offers B.Tech admissions to the candidates based on their Class 12/ equivalent exam and JEE Main scores. A candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in mathematics and physics as mandatory subjects along with chemistry/ biotechnology/ computer science/ biology as optional subjects in class 12th or any other equivalent qualifying exam to be eligible for the B.Tech admissions in Sastra University.
Moreover, the university has allocated 70% of the total seats to the students who have valid JEE Main scores and the remaining 30% seats are for the students who have valid scores in class 12th.
Due to the outburst of the pandemic covid-19 situation in the country, many exams have been postponed. However, it is possible that admission processes may consider the class 12th score for the B.Tech admissions.
