Candidates appearing for AP POLYCET 2026 must pay the application fee according to their category. OC and BC candidates are required to pay INR 400, while SC and ST candidates need to pay INR 100.

AP POLYCET 2026 Registration Begins

The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, Mangalagiri, has started the registration process for AP POLYCET 2026. Candidates seeking admission into diploma courses in Engineering, Non-Engineering, and Technology programmes for the academic session 2026–27 can now apply online.

As per the official notification, the online application window opened on March 3, 2026, and candidates can submit their forms till April 4, 2026. The entrance examination is scheduled for April 25, 2026.

POLYCET-2026 will be conducted in nearly 500 Examination centres in 120 Towns / Cities in all 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

The syllabus of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for POLYCET-2026 is as per the syllabus prescribed for the SSC Examination of March 2026 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh.

AP POLYCET 2026 Exam Pattern

The question paper for the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test consists of 120 objective-type questions. The subject-wise distribution of marks is as follows:

  • Mathematics: 50 Marks
  • Physics: 40 Marks
  • Chemistry: 30 Marks

Each question carries one mark. The stem is given both in Telugu and English. The distracters are also given in both languages whenever necessary.
