AP NEET Counseling 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round Announced for MBBS MQ Seats

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has released a notification for a Special Stray Vacancy Round for admissions into MBBS courses under the Management Quota for the academic year 2024-25. The process will follow the regulations established for undergraduate medical and dental professional courses in un-aided minority and non-minority institutions. Fresh web options must be exercised within November 21, 2024 10 AM to November 24, 2024 9 PM.

Key Highlights of the Special Stray Vacancy Round

1. Eligibility Criteria:
   • Only candidates already listed in the Final Merit List for Management Quota (published on September 15, 2024, and November 2, 2024) are eligible.
   • Applicants must not hold a seat in prior NEET UG counselling rounds (All India, State, or Deemed Universities).
   • Fresh registrations are not permitted.
2. Ineligible Candidates:
   • Those not in the merit list.
   • Candidates who have already joined MBBS/BDS seats in All India, State, or earlier stray vacancy rounds conducted by NTRUHS.
   • Individuals listed by the MCC post-Special Stray Vacancy Round.
3. Schedule for Participation:
   • Payment of Security Deposit: ₹3,00,000 through online mode, to be paid between 10:00 AM on November 21, 2024, and 9:00 PM on November 24, 2024.
   • Web Options Submission: Fresh web options must be exercised within the same timeframe.
   • Release of Seat Allotments: Tentatively scheduled for November 25, 2024.
4. Security Deposit Rules:
   • The ₹3,00,000 deposit is refundable under specific conditions:
     • Refundable if the candidate is not allotted a seat.
     • Refunded upon joining the allotted seat after admissions close.
   • Forfeited if the candidate does not join the allotted seat or provides incorrect information during registration.

Important Instructions:

• The applicants would also be required to submit an undertaking regarding their acceptance to join any seat allotted in this round. Failure to join would mean the forfeiture of the security deposit.
• All the options from previous rounds will not be considered.
