JNTU Kakinada is set to release AP EAMCET 2026 provisional answer keys today, May 23, 2026. Candidates who appeared in the exam from May 12 to 20, 2026 will be able to download shift-wise answer keys and individual response sheets from cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET once the portal is activated.

The AP EAMCET 2026 provisional answer key release marks a critical milestone for 3,28,000 candidates across Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy streams. This simultaneous release of answer keys and response sheets enables candidates to calculate estimated scores before official results. The exam featured 160 total questions with no negative marking for accurate performance assessment.

How to Download AP EAMCET 2026 Answer Key Once Out?

Visit the official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET and locate the "Provisional Answer Key" section.
Select your exam stream (Engineering or Agriculture & Pharmacy), exam date, and session shift carefully.
Enter your Registration Number and Hall Ticket Number to access the shift-wise master question paper PDF.
Download the PDF file and save it for future reference and score calculation.
Compare your marked answers against the official answer key to identify correct and incorrect responses.
This process helps candidates estimate their raw score before official results.

Each correct answer carries one mark with no negative marking for wrong answers. Add one mark for every correct response you marked during the exam. For Engineering stream, total marks are 160 (Mathematics/Biology: 80, Physics: 40, Chemistry: 40).

Your raw score calculation provides an initial estimate of performance. However, final merit scores undergo normalization based on exam difficulty and state-wise weightage. Keep your calculated score for reference during counselling process.

The objection window will remain open until May 25, 2026 for candidates to challenge discrepancies. A nominal fee of Rs. 300 per questioned response applies, which is refundable if your objection is proven valid. Submit objections strictly through the official online portal only.

To raise an objection, log in using your Registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, and date of birth. Upload valid supporting documents (textbooks, reference materials, or expert opinions) justifying your challenge. The committee's decision on objection validity is final with no further correspondence entertained.

What’s Next for Students

JNTU Kakinada will review all submitted objections and release the final answer key on June 1, 2026. Results will be declared simultaneously based on the finalized answer key. Candidates cannot challenge the final answer key once released.

Merit lists will be prepared by participating universities and organizations based on official scores. Counselling process begins in July 2026 onwards for seat allocation across engineering colleges, agriculture, and pharmacy institutions.
