AMU Organised a Two-Day Workshop on E-Content Development

New Delhi: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has concluded its two-day workshop on E-Content Development on October 31, 2023. The workshop was organised by the Faculty of Unani Medicine in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science of AMU.

The AMU Workshop on E-Content Development mainly focused on hands-on training for 80 participants, including faculty members and research scholars, which proved to be a resounding success, according to the official statement. 

AMU's initiative to conduct a workshop on this subject highlights the institution's commitment to staying at the forefront of educational innovation. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. M. Nadeem Khan and Dr. Hafiz Iqtidar Ahmad.

Professor Asim Zafar, Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Chief Guest, commended the workshop's theme and acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the organising team. Dr. Ammar Ibne Anwar extended his gratitude in the vote of thanks.

AMU E-Content Development Workshop 2023 Highlights 

The inaugural function saw the presence of Dr. Farooq Ahmad Dar, Chairman of the Department of Manafeul Aza and Organizing Secretary of the Workshop, who outlined the workshop's objectives. 

Professor Ubaidullah Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Unani Medicine, emphasised the significance of creating E-content and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Professor B.D. Khan, Principal of Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, stressed the importance of establishing the necessary infrastructure to support E-content development.

On this occasion, Dr Yusuf Ansari showed the advanced PPT tools and animation techniques, whereas DR Faisal Anawar provided hands-on training on OBS, VSDC, and video editing tools.

The event offered valuable insights into the most recent trends and technologies in E-content development. The Faculty of Unani Medicine's dedication to organising similar workshops in the future ensures that faculty members and research scholars remain up-to-date with the advancements in their field.
