Amity University Conducted Career Counselling Session on ‘A Journey for Life’

New Delhi: A career counselling session was conducted by Amity University on the topic “A Journey for Life”. The career counselling session talked about topics like how to create your career profile, how to apply for scholarships to foreign universities, how to write letters of recommendation and statement of purpose etc. 

The session was conducted by career counselling expert, Charushila Narula Vajpayee. He encouraged the children to develop their career profiles at a young age. He said that depending on the profile, Amity University also offers extracurricular activities for students according to their interests. 

The students were also given technical information about the importance of extracurricular activities in building a strong career profile. They were made aware of the various special scholarships and career options offered by foreign universities based on a student’s extra-curricular activities. 

Dr Sanjeev Paul, Director of International Affairs, at Amity University, organised the event. According to him, the event played a crucial role in encouraging the students and helping them build a profile suitable for modern-day competition. 

The event concluded with Dr Akshay Jain, Director of the Marketing Department, thanking all the students and visitors for participating in the event and making it a success.
