- Since its a Ph.D., we are not required to follow any curriculum, but we are free to choose any courses.
- Although it requires a network, there are plenty of activities in the university that help you get to know a lot of really great people.
- As of now, I have accommodation provided by the SSH student association; its fine for the first year of education.
- Then, my other supervisor at the University is Dr. Niels Taatgen, who is also very famous in the fields of Neuromorphic Computing and Cognitive Architecture.

Compared to most universities around the world, the quality of life , work life balance, overall cost of tution and living, Netherlands was a no brainer. It is now being realised that it is a much more attractive University destination than UK or US. Further, it was ranked highly for international business
Didn't have any desire to go to the US since it is too standard. College of Groningen is positioned in the top 100 colleges of the world. Had the course of my examination advantages. The profession in energy is preferable In Europe rather than the USA.
So we wrote a project with the professor at the University of Groningen and then she is my co-guide for the Ph.D. The important factor for me accepting this offer was the interdisciplinary work that I am getting to do. It involves Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science and Computational Neuroscience.
It's one of the top 100 universities in the world, and the top research-based public university in the Netherlands provides high-quality of education and good research-oriented support to the student. Having noble prize winners as lecturers which makes the college education standards even higher.
