  • Course structure and modules are good for gaining professional experience. Industrial experience is very limited. The R&D sector should be inclusive for the Mechanical Engineering department. Classes vary depending on the course requirements. The student percentage is based on your course modules.

  • Campus accommodation is really expensive but you will gain much better exposure to international space and engage with students from different nationalities.

  • The course is more practical than theoretical. There are many assignments that are based on projects and new tech. There were some recurring modules across semesters that were not of interest. The thesis is highly research-oriented. There were 42 people in my class, of whom the third quarter were Indians. The classes are spread out over a week, and there will be 3 hours of class maximum per day. There were labs also. Also, students can choose the stream of their choice.

Fees

  • 19300 euro was the full fee, of which 2500 euro was the scholarship. Had to pay in full while applying for a visa. For accommodation, choose the on-campus one, which costs 781 euros per month for the time period of my master's, which is a one-year program.
  • Apart from the rent, my monthly expense was around 120 euro per month. 15 euros for phone recharge; wifi was free on campus and in accommodation. around 90 euros for groceries. 10 euros for transportation via Leap card.

  • It was intermediate; the first semester was mostly an introduction to each subject, like Data Engineering, NLP, and Machine Learning in general. It was a mix of both; we had theoretical materials as well as practical lab assignments each week, some modules also had quizzes.
  • Most positive aspect was the hands-on coding with practicals and labs. Negative aspect was that it was basic; I wanted to try some advanced concepts like Deep learning and advance python programming that are required during the interviews.
  • It depends on the subject; many were totally online, others were a mix of online and face to face, each lecture would be 1 hour and later the professor would provide us resource materials to learn it online for the rest of the week for assignments. There were few sessions arranged during the week if someone had any queries or was stuck with an assignment. We could constantly chat on the online learning portal if we are stuck and needed help; lecturers were always available to respond. There were also lab assistances, phd students working under that professor who would respond to our query.
  • Average number was 30. Indian students were 20.

Fees

  • My full fees were 14000 Euros, I did not stay in the UL hostel campus but from my friends I know it varies depending on the Hostel type and facility you choose and for 1 year it is from 7000 to 10000 Euros. Other expenses are food and travel, which are roughly 200 to 300 Euro per month. You also need student health insurance, which was around 400 Euros for a year
  • For us it was half-yearly; at the beginning we had to pay half of the fees i.e 7000 Euros and later after the first semester.
  • My rent was 350 Euros, Electricity + Wifi - 50 Euros, Food - 150 Euros, I had a bicycle so never used public transport, but for students, travel on public transport is cheaper since we get a student travel card (Leap card) so 0.65 Euros each time we travel so roughly 10 euros a month. In total 560 Euros each month could be the expenses. Also, Limerick is cheap as compared to Dublin.

  • It was very difficult and had a lot of research and assignments and tests , our classes used to be every day from 8 am to 4 pm and some days it would be just project discussions. We had a bunch of classes clubbed with other programs; we used to do it based on the subjects we chose as our optionals. Our batch had 17 students and mostly it was 10 Indian students

Fees

  • Full fees were 6250 euros after the scholarship and around 4500 euros for campus accommodation this is yearly.
  • Rent: 450-500 euros p.m
  • Transportation - I used to stay in college campus but it is usually 1 euro around for a 90 mins on bus using the leap card
  • Food and groceries -200 euros p.m
  • This varies on the accommodation and the amount of cooking you do at the house.

  • The course curriculum and academics at UL are genuinely much better . Instead of focusing on memorizing theory and writing long answers the learning here is more practical and project-based. This makes the experience more engaging and enjoyable.
  • We had good mix of team projects and individual assignments. The schedule wasn’t too hectic, but we did have a lot of assignments and projects to work on.

Fees

  • 19000 euro (2000 was waived through scholarship).

  • The difficulty level of my course curriculum was both practical and theoretical, more towards the practical side.
  • The positive aspect of this course was that I lacked technical knowledge, which helped me to learn while I had a good knowledge of practical industry work.
  • The negative aspect, I feel, is that few subjects that we enjoyed could have more than just one single assignment.

Fees

  • The fee structure breakdown is as follows: 1500 euros were my scholarship fees, 8500 euros were my entire year's accommodation fees and tuition fees were 16000 euros.
  • The fees charged were as per your preference. I preferred to pay all together.
  • The estimate of monthly expenses depends upon the individual preference as to how he wants to spend as per the limited budget decided or lavishly. But for a person coming from a humble background, 1000 euros per month would be sufficient which includes accommodation rent, food and some shopping. For transportation, a student leap card is advised to be made as soon as you enter Ireland which makes you save some of your expenses along with a PPSN which helps you get a part-time job (works as a government ID which helps to track your taxes that you pay to the government).

It was relevant but not relevant enough to get me a skillset that I could update on my resume. I got research experience so I'd say my degree was better suited for someone wanting to do a PhD rather than wanting to work outside after their masters.

Fees

My total tuition fee was around 11 lakhs in INR. And with accommodation and other living expenses I'd keep at least around 18 lakhs for my masters.

The courses are good and up to date. Mostly you won't be having exams and the marks will be given based on your projects.

Fees

At the time I joined, the fee was around 15,000 euros/year. My master's was a one year program.

There is a lot of study pressure as the course is intensive. The course is more practical in nature.
