- Nothing apart from the hostel rent as mentioned. paying 1000+ euro for a month becomes too much when you calculate you monthly expense in Ireland. That is only available for 10 months.

- The one thing I don’t like about my college is the student support and the delay in responses that we get from the program coordinators. It’s understandable to expect delay but some of us have gotten delays in responses for weeks.

I would define my overall experience as satisfactory. I wasn't too overwhelmed by the experience, as it is exactly what I expected, yet there were some things which were really surreal for me.

I received a scholarship from my college, UCD, of 7,500 euros, which would be waived from my actual fee amount.

- My PhD supervisor was well-known in my chosen area of research.
- Academically, it is a great place to pursue your studies. You would learn from the top scientists and academicians in your chosen area of study. Besides this, the support they give to students is immense, and especially as an international student, you'd never feel that you were staying away from home, as you would find several Indian students at the campus.
- Also, there are several students’ clubs where you can meet and greet people. More importantly, you will have a great time learning with several like-minded people across the globe.
Dislikes
- One of the major limitations that Indian students would face at the University is the lack of accommodation support. It is nearly impossible to get a place to stay close to the institute as the prices are either way expensive or it is very hard to get a place e.g., for every single room there will be around 30-50 people will be competing.
- I believe the university hostel accommodation have to be booked well-advanced (may be like a year or so) but again it is expensive.
Overview
Again, it is one of the best places around the globe to pursue your studies, regardless of your educational and research background.

- UCD holds a special place in my heart. My enrolment at the prestigious university has given me innumerable and memorable experiences to cherish. It’s accepting of all cultures, had a supporting environment and a lovely lake with beautiful swans and ducks.
- They organise student international trips with discounted prices which is worth trying out. They also have multiple cultural forums that you can take part in. That also offer scholarships for students.
Dislikes
- I don’t particularly dislike anything about my university. If I have to choose with a hard thought, then it will be something like distance from the centre. It’s quite on the outskirts. Also, college fees is on the higher level so it can be reduced.
