- The students specialize in sub-areas of chemistry by choosing ten elective modules from an extensive range. In addition, the course enables students to gain an insight into the content and methods of the neighboring sciences.
- Chemistry at Saarland University is a very research-intensive subject. The focus is on the chemical-biological, chemical-biomedical and chemical-materials science areas, including nanosciences and synthetic chemistry.
- The Saarbrücken master’s course prepares chemists for work in industry, research institutes and public institutions. In addition, it imparts knowledge and skills that are required for a doctorate and further academic career.
