- The Master's course of study in computer science teacher training is composed of a comprehensive, mandatory module Computer Science Subject-Didactics, which includes an embedded practical semester, a mandatory module on the concept Faszination Technik in Computer Science, three technical elective modules, and a Master's thesis that can be completed in computer science.
- The module Computer Science Subject-Didactics consists of a seminar, that prepares students for the practical semester and the school research component with lesson plans and exemplary trials, as well as an additional seminar in the following semester, that accompanies the school research component.
- Students learn to practically implement the technical and methodological skills acquired during studies in a targeted manner with school students in lessons.
- The final module exam reviews the skills acquired in both semesters and takes into consideration both the reflection of the practical school experiences and the school research component.
- Students advance their technical skills in three elective modules. They can choose from theoretical, technical, practical, and applied computer science. Modules can be selected from various areas and combined with one another with no restrictions.
- The module catalog in the exam regulation (see below) offers an overview of the spectrum of specialization possibilities.
