  • The college has only one campus in Jouy-en-Josas, near Paris. It is fully equipped with all sports facilities, from a gym and football to rugby and an athletics track. It has a spacious library that even has a Bloomberg terminal for finance enthusiasts.
  • There are a lot of clubs on campus, many representing their home nations. Hence, all different festivals are celebrated on campus. Right from Indian festivals such as Diwali and Holi to the Chinese Spring festival. There is a grand sporting event as well known as MBAT, where schools from all over France and even the UK come to participate.
  • One can hope to enjoy a lot of things outside academia; they just need some enthusiasm.

  • The accommodation differs based on your course. For the first year of your Master in Management program, you are allotted the T1 room. This room has a kitchenette and a bathroom attached to it. The rent is around 620 euros.
  • For the second year, you are allotted a room in the AP building. This room does not have a kitchenette attached; however, it has a bathroom. There is one common kitchen per building in these buildings and the rent is around 570 euros.
  • The T1 buildings are naturally more comfortable to live in but you would also get used to the AP buildings when you have to. One advantage of the AP buildings is their proximity to the academic block. You can reach the academic block within a few minutes. For the T1 buildings, you will require around 7-8 minutes to reach the academic block.

  • We have one huge campus in the suburb of Paris with all the facilities (except a pool). There is a library, an indoor gym, dance room, football field, tennis court, volleyball court, canteen, church, outdoor gym, doctor and so much more on campus.
  • There are multiple events organised by different committees and associations by different cultures. The most popular events are the HEC Gala, the POW (party) that happens every Thursday, the Holi and Diwali party and the tournaments organised by the school.

  • I was in campus housing and chose the cheapest apartment without really looking at the pictures. I did not have the best housing (the AP buildings are not the nicest buildings to stay in). Even though I saved up a small amount, the other houses were much more comfortable to stay in. Monthly rent was 560 for the AP buildings and around 670 for the other buildings.
  • Housing application was taken care of by the college- we just had to fill a form stating the kind of accommodation we would like. I realised most of my batchmates took accommodation in the better building so the socialising was restricted in my case. Otherwise the campus, classrooms and other buildings were very accessible. Most Indians stay on campus.

  • The college has only one main campus in Paris. But has started a new campus in Doha, Qatar recently to provide executive education
  • The college has all the facilities from library, sports complexes, medical services, food outlets, laundry services, vending machines, learning area, social places and clubs
  • HEC Business game is one of the popular event that includes business case competition from the companies. This event brings in around 500 people around the world. MBAT is an other festival focused on sports that brings in around 1,000 footfalls. Apart from these, different country clubs organizes various traditional festivals such as Diwali for India for the international cohort to experience and know the different traditions
  • There are numerous social clubs and associations such as sports, wine tasting, cultural clubs, creative associations such as photography. Clubs such as Consulting club, Finance club, Entrepreneurial clubs are also present to provide a space for student to express themselves

  • HEC Paris students usually receive college accommodations and is allotted through the university portal. And college also refers to come options i the city for people opting to stay out and they provide end to end service in allotting the accommodations to the students
  • The monthly rent range: 500 - 750 Euros depending upon the time of accommodation each year
  • I recommend people to stay in campus during their studies because of the facilities available and also to commute to the learning center or the class room
  • Since the accommodations are on the campus, it would somewhere around 500m to 1km
