How to Apply for WBJEE JECA 2025?

A step-by-step guide to complete the registration process is given below:

Step 1: WB JECA 2025 Registration

• Visit the official website wbjeeb.in
• Click on “Online Application Form JECA 2025”
• Click on “New Candidate Registration”
• Click on “I agree and Proceed” on the instructions page
• Register by filling in information like candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, identification type, and number present and permanent address, mobile number, email id, etc.
• After candidates fill the application form, candidates will be required to create a password, choose a security question and answer and register themselves.
• After submission, an application number will be generated.

Step 2: Fill WB JECA 2025 Application Form 

• After registering, click on Fill in Application Form
• Candidates would be required to fill in details like domicile, category, PwD status, family income status, religion,nationality, academic details etc.
• Candidates can choose any three zones of examination centers according to their preferences.

Step 3: Uploading Documents 

Candidates were required to upload the scanned images of the documents mentioned in the table below:

• The Photograph is required to be recently taken so that it could match the candidate’s physical features.
• Low-quality images were not acceptable and were likely to be rejected.
• The background of the photograph is to be of a very light color.
• The face of the candidate should occupy at least 50% of the entire space for photograph looking straight to the camera.
• Candidates should upload all documents at one time
• Marksheets and Qualification certificates must be uploaded in pdf format of size 50 to 300 kB.

Step 4: Payment of Application fee

• WB JECA 2025 Application fee will be of INR 500/- for candidates of general category and INR 400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates
• After uploading images candidates will be directed automatically to the fee payment step.
• The application fee could only be paid online using Netbanking/ Debit card/ Credit card.
• The fee once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.

Step 5: Confirmation page

• On successful completion of all the above steps, the candidate will be automatically directed to the option for downloading the ‘Confirmation Page’.
• Application process will not be complete if the confirmation page is not generated.
• The confirmation page contains information as given by the candidate and the Baord will not be responsible for any mistake by the candidate.
• The candidate will be required to take a Print-out of the Confirmation Page and they should preserve the same carefully till the completion of the admission process.
• The confirmation page cannot be regenerated after completion of the declared e-counseling and admission process conducted by the Board. 
• If any candidate loses their confirmation page, a duplicate can be provided by the Board.
• In order to get a duplicate confirmation page, the candidate should apply to the Board and paid a processing fee of INR 500 by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.

Note – Candidates will need to produce a copy of the same photograph to enter the examination center, during counseling, admission, registration with the university, etc. 

WB JECA 2025 Form Correction

After the successful registration and upon completion of WB JECA 2025 application form, candidates will be allowed to make corrections by visiting the official WB JECA website. 

• Candidates should take a note that information like candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, gender, domicile, and date of birth entered during WB JECA 2025 registration cannot be edited.
• Any request to make changes in WB JECA 2025 Application beyond the correction period will not be entertained.

WB JECA Application Form 2025 Status

In order to check the WB JECA Application Form status, the candidates followed these steps:

1. Visit the WB JECA Official website.
2. Go to the Candidate login page.
3. Enter WB JECA 2025 Application No. and Password.

If the "Download Acknowledgement Page" link appears on the screen then it indicates that their WB JECA Application Form 2025 has been accepted.

Important Instructions for WB JECA 2025 Application

Candidates are required to read the guidelines of the online application carefully before filling WB JECA 2025 Application. 

• Candidates should fill WB JECA 2025 application form in online mode on the official website of WBJEE. There is no offline process for registration.
• Candidates should ensure that the unique mobile number and Email ID provided during registration are correct as it will be used for further communication regarding the entrance exam.
• After the completion of registration, the entered details in the application form can be edited during the application correction window.
• If any discrepancy in the information entered by WB JECA  applicant comes to notice during admission, the candidate should take immediate steps to contact the respective colleges.
• Scanned images of photograph, signature and left thumb impression will be acceptable only in the prescribed format given in the information bulletin.
• The application fee could be paid in online mode through net banking/ credit or debit card only..
• Candidates are advised to keep copies of the confirmation page and admit card because it will not be possible to get duplication copies at later stages of admission.
