Ans. The following tie-breaker rules are considered in case of a tie during merit ranking in TS POLYCET.
- Marks scored first in Mathematics and followed by Physics
- Date of Birth – the older candidate will be given preference.
- In case the tie is still not resolved after application of the above rules, the candidate who has scored higher marks in the qualifying exam will be given precedence, to resolve the tie.

Ans. The TS POLYCET 2026 results will be released by SBTE&T on the official website. Candidates can access their results from the websites https://POLYCETts.nic.in or http://sbtet.telangana.gov.in or from any Coordinating-cum-Helpline center. The rank Cards are available to download from the websites one week after the results are declared.

Ans: The detailed counselling and admission schedule will be publicly notified via leading newspapers, post TS POLYCET results, inviting candidates for certificate verification and option entry. This Notification is to be treated as a call letter. SBTET will not issue or send separate call letters to attend the admission camp. Ques. What is a Multi-Point Entry and Credit (MPEC) system and who is eligible?
Ans. In the Multi-Point Entry and Credit system, eligible candidates get pre-determined credits for select subjects, as decided by an expert committee. Through MPEC, a candidate can finish the Diploma earlier than the stipulated period. TS POLYCET 2026 qualified candidates who have completed either 10 + 2, 10 + ITI, 10 + Intermediate (Vocational) or 3-year Degree Courses in Sciences are eligible for Multi-Point Entry and Credit System (MPEC).

Ans. Allotment of seats is based on a computer program that considers the merit of the candidate and the reservation status to find the best possible seat among the eligible options.
Ques. What is the next step after a seat is allotted to a candidate through TS POLYCET Counselling?
Ans. Candidates will have to download the allotment order and fee payment challan for payment through designated bank branches. Once payment is made, candidates should report at the allotted college and present the allotment order and fee payment challan within the stipulated time.
