The Osmania University, Hyderabad, is conducting the TS LAWCET Counselling 2025 on behalf of TSCHE. The counselling is ongoing on the official website –  lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in.

  • TS LAWCET 2025 counselling Phase 2 seat allotment result has been released on September 22, 2025. Report to the allotted college by September 23 to 27, 2025.
  • The TS LAWCET 2025 counselling Phase 1 seat allotment was out on August 28, 2025. Reporting at the allotted colleges is scheduled from August 30 to September 4, 2025.

The applicants need to register online and pay the TS LAWCET counselling fees of ₹800 for General/OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST candidates. To be considered eligible for TS LAWCET 2025 counselling, the candidates should have a valid TS LAWCET rank and must fulfil the educational criteria, either a 3-year LLB graduate degree or a passing certificate of 12th grade for the 5-year LLB, having at least 45% marks.

The TS LAWCET counselling is based on a reservation policy with SC (15%) and ST (6%) seats, OBC (29%) seats, and minority candidates.

TS LAWCET 2025 Reservation Policy

The TS LAWCET Reservation Policy provides equitable access to legal studies in terms of category-wise and special reservations. 15% of the seats are reserved for SC and 10% for ST applicants, while 35% are reserved for different BC categories (BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E). 10% of the seats are reserved for EWS applicants.

  • The local applicants have 85% of the seats reserved, and non-local applicants have only 15% of the seats reserved.
  • Reserved seats are also enjoyed by special categories such as CAP (Children of Armed Forces Personnel), NCC (National Cadet Corps), PH (Physically Handicapped), and Sports candidates.

Such a system encourages equal opportunity and fosters diversity in legal education.

TS LAWCET Local and Non-Local Candidates

  • 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates who meet the specific criteria set by the Telangana government.
  • 15% of seats are open to non-local candidates, including those from other states or Union Territories.

TS LAWCET Special Categories

Candidates belonging to the following special categories are eligible for additional reservations:

TS LAWCET 2025 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

TS LAWCET 2025 counselling has the eligibility criteria for 3-year and 5-year LLB courses separately.

  • For 3-year LLB, a candidate is required to have a bachelor's degree (10+2+3) with 45% for Gen/OBC and 40% for SC/ST, whereas 5-year LLB needs Class 12 with 45% (Gen), 42% (OBC), and 40% (SC/ST).
  • Final-year and +2 appearing candidates are considered eligible, provided they clear their exams before counselling.
  • There is no maximum age, but candidates should be Indian citizens with Telangana domicile status.

The TS LAWCET Counselling Process Fees vary among the different categories; the general and OBC candidates are required to pay ₹800, whereas the reserved category candidates are required to pay less, i.e ₹500 as compared to the general category.

TS LAWCET Cutoff 2025

The TS LAWCET cutoff 2025 will be released category-wise for the 5-Year LLB and 3-Year LLB courses. The cutoff ranks for the general category candidates is expected to be in the range of 1-500 for both courses, i.e 5-year LLB program and the 3-year LLB program.

  • The reserved category candidates will have a slightly higher cutoff range, and OBC candidates will have a cutoff range of 501-1500 for both courses.
  • The SC and ST categories are expected to have a cutoff range of 1,500 to 3,000 for the 5-year LLB program and 1,500 to 2,500 for the 3-year LLB program.

To check the seat allotment in TS LAWCET, the candidate needs to visit the official website - lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in and click the “Seat Allotment Result” or “Download Allotment Order” and log in by using the Hall Ticket Number and DOB to access the Seat Allotment status.

Ques. Who is eligible to participate in the counselling?

  • Those students who have not been admitted in previous rounds.
  • Candidates who want to change programs or institutions should approach spot admissions for another chance of getting admission.
  • Individuals who missed or could not apply within the initial deadlines.
  • The process usually moves further, with admissions offered on a first-come, first-served basis or merit basis, depending on the institution's policy.

Ques. Can I modify my web options after submission?

Ans. Yes, there is a provision to edit web options within a specified window after the initial submission. It's essential to check the official schedule for the exact dates.

Changing Web Options: Major Points

  • Modification Window: The candidate can modify the web options several times before the ultimate freezing date. For phase 1 guidance, the entry of web options will be available from July 6 to July 10, 2025, and choices will freeze on July 10.
  • Post-Mock Allotment Modifications: The mock seat allotment (anticipated on July 13, 2025), you get one more chance to make changes in your selections on July 14 and 15, 2025, prior to final freezing on July 15.
  • Finality Upon Freezing: After options are frozen, the options cannot be changed anymore. The frozen options will be deemed final for seat allotment.

Dear Sir, I am residing in UAE, and due to wrok have missed registering for counselling under all dates, waht option do i have not for registering and waht can i do ?

The final counseling session of TS LAWCET 2022 has been conducted and the merit list has been released on December 15, 2022. There is no option for you to register and take part in the counseling now. You have to take next examination and make sure you do not miss the counseling session.
