Along with the theory exam dates, Assam HSLC practical exam dates have also been released. The practical exams of Class 10 will be conducted on February 2 and 3. The practical and theory exam dates have been released through a common PDF.
As per Assam HSLC Exam Routine 2024, both theory and practical exams will be conducted in two shifts – morning and afternoon shift. The timings for Assam HSLC Exams 2024 are as follows:
- Morning Shift – 9 AM to 12 Noon
- Afternoon Shift – 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Students must note that the practical exams will be held only for a duration of two hours i.e. from 9 AM to 11 AM and from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Assam HSLC practical exams will also be conducted at the examination centers assigned for theory exams. Practical exams will not be held in venues.
This year, students will be provided only 5 minutes to read the question paper. In this time, they are not allowed to write any answers on the answer sheet or the question paper.

- MIL (Modern Indian Languages) includes Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Khasi, Garo, Hmar, Mizo, Urdu, Nepali, and Karbi.
- There will be a common question paper with Group A and Group B for Elective and In Lieu Languages. For elective languages, candidates have to appear for both Group A and B. For in lieu languages, candidates have to appear for Group A only.

Assam HSLC Exam Day Instructions
Students should check the below instructions provided by the Assam Board to candidates appearing for HSLC board exams:
- Make sure to reach the examination centre half an hour before the commencement of the exam.
- Do not forget to bring your Assam HSLC Admit Card on the day of the exam. Entry without admit card will not be allowed.
