NEST 2024 syllabus will follow the rationalized science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) syllabus of class 11–12 as per NCERT. The syllabus of NEST 2024 exam consists of 4 sections, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology.
The Exam Pattern of NEST 2024 is mainly based on the NCERT/ CBSE science syllabus of classes XI and XII. The question will focus on scientific knowledge and the basic concept and its application. This year, NEST 2024 will be organized at 115 exam centers (major towns or cities) all over India. Questions are designed to test the candidate’s knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. Each correct answering in MCQ will grant you +2.5 marks and +4 marks in MSQ. There is a provision of negative marking only in MCQ portion of -1 marks per incorrect answers. Also Check NEST 2024 exam pattern
Physics from NEST 2024 syllabus is one of the toughest one along with Mathematics. Candidates are also advised to focus on tricky and formula based questions for preparation. The syllabus being a bit difficult, you can still ace the examination by effective preparation. NCERT textbooks can be a handy tool for a better preparation for NEST 2024 examination. However, solving NEST practice papers can help you in understanding the exam pattern, along with weightage of topics from all four sections in a better way.
