The questions in senior and higher secondary exams and all the other classes are framed directly from the books published by board. If any candidates want to study from other reference books then also s/he shall first read the Nagaland Board books to understand the approach.
- Students are advised to follow reference books along with the books prescribed by NBSE Board. Books like Mathematics by RD Sharma or Senior Secondary Mathematics by RS Aggarwal are very helpful.
- NBSE has recommended Biology for Class 12th by Veer Bala Rastogi.
- Some of the books for Hindi as suggested by NBSE are Hindi Gyan Ganga, Hindi Vyakaran Prakash, Saral Hindi Vyakaran by S. K. Pathak & Zakienei Angami and Nirmala – Premchand.
