MGU CET Result 2024 is released in the form of a rank list. MGU CET result can be checked from the official website of Mahatma Gandhi University, cat.mgu.ac.in. The result contain name, rank, roll number, category, caste, date of birth, test mark and total mark obtained by the candidate. MGU CET results can be downloaded with the MGU CET credential used during the time of registration.
After the announcement of the result, the counselling process will start. The counselling process will be conducted course-wise and will include a Descriptive Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

MGU CET counselling is expected to be conducted in June 2024. MGU CET counselling or Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) will be prepared by MGU University and will be declared on the official portal. Selection of candidates for CAP is based on their MGU CAT score.

Candidates who had made up for MGU CAT Merit will be called for the counseling and admission process. Check scheduled of following events:

How to Check MGU CAT 2024 Result?
Results for MGU CAT 2042 will be declared around First/Second week ofJune 2024(tentatively) on the official website. Here are a few steps to check the result of the entrance exam:
- Log onto the official website i.e. mgu.ac.in
- Click on the Examinations option available on the top center of the page.
- Click on the Exam Results option from the list.
- Fill in the Examination Name and PRN number.
- Result for the exam will appear in a PDF format.
- Download it for future reference.
Details on Scorecard
The following details will be present on the scorecard:
- Name of the candidate
- Course name
- Date of the examination
- Marks secured
- Sectional marks
- Rank of the candidate
MGU CAT 2024 Normalization of Score
The normalization process to be implemented shall be adjust for location and scale difference of score distributions across different forms and the scale scores obtained by this process shall be converted into a percentile for the purpose of short listing.
The rank list for all the courses and various programs will be prepared based on:
- The marks scored in entrance test.
- Total marks will be converted to 1000
- Bonus marks/weighted marks
- A+B shall be the index marks
- For M.Ed course, the selection will be made on the basis of
- Qualifying examination+ Weigtage
- Entrance test ratio- 50:50
The rank list will be published after the announcement of the entrance test results.
MGU CAT 2024 Merit List
Allotment to all the courses will be done based on merit list which will be prepared by Mahatma Gandhi University after the declaration of result.
The merit list for all pg programmes will be prepared based on:
- The marks scored in the Entrance Exam + the marks in GD/Interview/Descriptive exam/Qualifying examination marks converted to 20 (Total mark converted into 1000).
- The bonus marks/weightage marks/Handicap mark.
A+B will be the index marks.
MGU CAT 2024 Counselling
Rank list and the lists of eligible candidates for admission as per merit and reservation will be published separately on the university admission portal. Eligible candidates will be called for the counselling process. Candidates who failed to report to the counselling will be treated as non-joined and further claim for admission from these students will not be entertained.
Candidates should produce the following documents in original at the time of counselling:
- Birth Certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Mark list of qualifying degree examination
- Equivalency Certificate for qualifying examination (If Applicable)
- Migration Certificate (If Applicable)
- Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, BPL Certificate (If Applicable)
- Any other document required to be produced
