Mizoram Board Class 12 Syllabus
Candidates shall have to choose any one of the streams during the admission of class 11. The streams provided for the candidates are all based on the school, and the candidate shall get to choose based on his/her priority and future plans. In class 12 there are four compulsory and one elective subject. Candidates can also opt for six subjects but marks for only five subjects will be considered. There are some optional papers that are similar across the streams like Economics, Mathematics etc. Economics is a compulsory subject in commerce stream but an elective subject in Science stream. Mathematics is a compulsory subject in Science stream but optional for commerce stream. The syllabus that has been reduced for a subject will remain the same for all the streams irrespective of being an elective subject or compulsory subject.

How to Download Mizoram Board Syllabus?
Candidates struggling to know the process for seeing the syllabus online has always remained one of the significant problems. The step by step process to check the syllabus by online method shall help everyone.
Step 1: Give a visit to the official webpage run by the authorities of the Mizoram board.
Step 2: Once on the page, click on the bar/tab that reads "Academic".

Mizoram Board Marking Scheme
A student must pass in all the subjects by at least scoring the minimum passing percentage set by the commission to get promoted to a further level in the academic aspect. The commission has a unique way of it.
- All the candidates must score at least 33% or more in every theoretical examination.
- Candidates must also score a minimum score of 33% or more in all the practical examinations.
- When the total percentage of the candidate shall be counted, the candidates must have an aggregate percentile of 33%.
- When it comes to the internally assisted tests, all candidates appearing must at least back the grade of 'D' to qualify.
- The commission strictly ensures that all the candidates have the minimum score in both practical and theoretically assisted examinations.
Placement of students based on the scores
The commission/board places every student appearing for the examination into various categories based on their score/performance, in the exam.

Eligibility to appear for the compartment exam: The commission has also set up eligibility criteria to appear in the compartment exam conducted for students who fail to pass in the board examination.
- The student should've failed just in one subject and not more.
- The student must have qualified in all the internally assisted tests conducted by the school management itself with at least the minimum passing percentile.
Additional Subjects and Marking scheme:
- The board doesn't take into the count of excess marks secured in additional subjects during the time of determining rank and division of the student.
- The board ensures students that a minimum percentile of 33% is enough in the additional subjects.
