KBPE SSLC 2027 Eligibility Criteria (Before You Apply)

Verify your eligibility before the registration window opens in November 2026. Applications from ineligible students are rejected and the fee is not refunded.

• School-Going Candidates (SGC): You must be enrolled in Class 10 (Standard X) in a Kerala government, government-aided, or KBPE-recognized private school for the 2026–27 academic year and must have been promoted from Class 9.
• Private Candidates: You must have previously registered for the SSLC examination. Students who failed one or more subjects and are re-appearing fall under the ARC (After Regular Course) or Compartmental (CCC) sections.
• Betterment of Results: Students who have already passed SSLC but wish to improve scores in specific subjects can apply under the Betterment section.

How to Fill KBPE SSLC Application Form 2027

Phase 1: New Registration

School-Going Students (SGC / Regular Track):

5. After submission, your school will provide you a printout of your registration confirmation — check every detail (name spelling, date of birth, subjects) carefully and report any error to your headmaster immediately.

Private Candidates (Direct Registration):

1. Visit sslcexam.kerala.gov.in and click the Private Candidate / New Registration link when it becomes active in November 2026.
2. Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID exactly as in your birth certificate and previous SSLC documents.
3. Provide your previous SSLC attempt details: year of appearance, subjects appeared, registration number, and district.
4. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS and set a secure password. Note your Application / Registration Number — you will need it for all future logins, admit card download, and result checking.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form and Submit

2. Navigate to the A-List Correction section, select the student whose details need correcting, and make the required edits.
3. Submit the correction online and take a printout of the corrected form.
4. Get the printout countersigned by the headmaster and submit it to the District Education Office (DEO) before the correction window closes.
5. The student must verify the corrected details on the confirmation printout provided by the school.
