The HBSE Result for Class 12 examinees for the 2025- 26 session will include both the candidate details as well as an overall assessment of his or her performance in the board exams. Students, must look out for the correctness of the following information mentioned in the HBS Class 12 Result:

Getting a hang of the Class 12th HBSE Result Grading Scheme

The Haryana Board of School Education adopts a nine-point Grading scale to grade the performance of students in each subject as well as a whole in the plus 2 exams. The grading scheme is explained below.

• Grade A+ is the best, whereas grade E implies failing the exam.
• Candidates need to secure a minimum of a D+ grade in each subject to pass the exam.

Class 12th Haryana Board Result 2026: Revaluation and Scrutiny

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) provides students who think they haven’t received the scores they deserve to opt for revaluation and rechecking services. This acts as a redressal for students who want to review their response sheets for totalling errors or want their answer scripts rechecked.

• All applications for Revaluation and Scrutiny must be submitted online at bseh.org.in.
• The application window usually opens in May, after declaration of the main HBSE Class 12 Board Exam results.
• The Revaluation Results are usually released a few weeks after this window opens.
• The Rechecking/ scrutiny costs INR 250 per answer script, whereas the Revaluation incurs a fee of INE 1000 per subject (or answer booklet).
• Examinees with a valid BPL card get a fee concession. The need to pay INR 800 per subject.
• Ultimately, the marks can increase, decrease, or remain as it was; the updated marks will be deemed final under any circumstance.

Note:

• Rechecking/ Scrutiny involves ensuring that all responses have been evaluated, the marks have been totalled correctly, and the marks have been entered correctly.
• Revaluation, on the other hand, involves a fresh evaluation of the answer script by a new examiner. If there is 15% or more increase in marks, a third examiner will evaluate the responses. The final marks will be the average of the marks given by the second and the third examiner.

Class 12th Haryana Board Result 2026: Compartment Exam

Students who couldn’t pass in up to 2 subjects in the HBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026 will have to appear for the HBSE Compartment Exam 2026. By passing the Compartment Exams, students can avoid losing an academic year and graduate in class 12.

This will save one from facing tough questions from the interview panels in higher Education institutes they seek admission in, or in job interviews; they may be asked to explain the gap in their academics, and it often downplays their chances of getting selected.

• The Compartment Exams are usually conducted by the BSEH in two sessions. This means you have two chances to redeem yourself.
• Last year, the exams were held in the July session- July 4 (single day for all subjects), and the September/ October session. The results were declared on 28th July and 12th November for the two sessions, respectively.
• The students can check their Compartment Exam Result at the bseh.org.in website using their roll number and Date of Birth.
• Navigate to the ‘Results’ section on the homepage. Click on the ‘HBSE Class 12 Compartmental/ Supplementary Result 2026’ link, where you will have to enter your credentials.
• Click ‘Submit’ to access your Class 12 HBSE Results for the 2025- 26 Compartment Exams.

Class 12th Haryana Board Result 2025 Statistics

HBSE Class 12 Results were released at 10:50 AM on 13 May, 2025, last year. Out of 1,93,828 regular candidates, 1,66,031 passed the exam. The pass rate was 85.66% for the Regular students. Girls outperformed boys with a pass rate of 89.41% against 81.86%, respectively.

• Jind came out as the top-performing district. Nuh fared the worst.
• Among the total number of Private students, 63.21% passed in the 2025 version of the exam.
• Students from rural areas outperformed those from urban areas with pass rates of 85.94% and 85.03%, respectively.
• Arpandeep Singh secured the first rank among all examinees, with 497/500 marks.
• Two female students, Karina and Yashika, secured the second rank. They obtained 495/500 marks.
