CHSE Odisha class 12th exam pattern for 2023 has been released based on CHSE Odisha Syllabus 2023. Earlier, the board released the updated weightage system. As per the pattern, 80% weightage will be based on performance of students in final board exams. The remaining 20% percentage will be from performance in internal assessments.
- An assessment will be made considering 100% weightage on final exam.
- Among the 80-20 weightage and 100% weightage, the higher one will be considered.
- The final result will be prepared choosing one of the two weightage system, whichever is higher

CHSE Odisha Exam Pattern 2023
Odisha board class 12 exam pattern will see a few changes this year. As the syllabus has been reduced by 30% in line with the syllabus of CBSE and NTA, the per question weightage and topic wise marks will be changed. Odisha Board class 12 syllabus has been reduced and the chapters which are in the syllabus of national level competitive exams like NEET and JEE are retained to reduce the burden on the aspirants of such exams. The students are suggested to tally the syllabus of both the exams and prepare accordingly.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
- The time duration for most of the exams range from 2.5 to 3 hours.
- The total marks for subjects with practicals are 100, out of which 70 are for the theory paper and 30 for the practical exam.
- The total marks are 100, for subjects which do not have any practical exams.

CHSE Odisha Preparation Tips
Preparation tips for CHSE Odisha Students are given below:
- If there is some trouble in understanding any of the concepts, always take support from professors, friends, parents; don’t try to memorise it blindly.
- Create a separate list of critical formulas, and revise them regularly. Keeping them in one place in an organized manner will help you to recollect them every now and then.
