CHSE Odisha Registration 2024 last date was November 25, 2023, for regular candidates. The application forms were released on November 10 on the official website chseodisha.nic.in. Students had to fill out their registration forms under the guidance of their school authorities. 

The registration process for ex-regular candidates has also concluded. CHSE Odisha registration forms for ex-regular students were available from September 15 to September 30, 2023. 

Odisha CHSE Registration is mandatory for students appearing for Odisha CHSE Exams 2024. Only canddiates who have completed their registration process before the deadline will be allowed to appear for the final exams. The final board exams of class 12 will be held from February 16 to March 20, 2024. 

This year, a total of 3,84,597 students will appear for Odisha CHSE Exams. Out of these total students, 3,59,039 are regular students while 25,558 are ex-regular students. The registrations this year have increased by 26,655 from the last year. 

Students registered successfully will get their Odisha CHSE Admit Card for board exams. The admit card will contain the same details as provided during the registration process, however, you are advised to verify the details. If there are any discrepancies, you must contact your respective school authorities.

CHSE Odisha Registration 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are appearing for CHSE Odisha Exams 2024 shall have passed the secondary examination from a recognized board in India. Candidates from other states shall have a migration certificate issued by the previous examination board.

  • Age Limit: Candidates should be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of registration. The upper age limit shall be 28 years or lower.
  • Number of Attempts: Candidates can appear in the board examination in three modes- regular, repeater, and private. The board has not prescribed the number of attempts for any category.
  • Qualification: Candidates shall have passed the secondary examination with at least 33% aggregate marks to register for CHSE exams. Also, it is necessary to pass class 11 exam and pre-board examination that is conducted by the concerned school as per the directions of Odisha Board.

How to Fill Out CHSE Odisha Registration Form 2024?

CHSE Odisha registration process is completed in three steps. You can check the steps below:

Step 1: Download Odisha Board Registration Form from the official website

  • Visit the official website of the board – chseodisha.nic.in. 
  • Click on ‘Forms’ option. 
  • Then click on ‘Senior Secondary Registration’.
  • Download the form in .pdf format.
  • Get a printout of the registration form.

Step 2: Submit the duly filled Registration form to the concerned school

  • Fill out the application form carefully.
  • Affix a recent passport-size photograph.
  • Add your signature in the respective slot.
  • Attach the required documents.

Step 3: Payment of Registration Fee

  • Odisha CHSE registration fee shall be paid at the time of form submission.
  • The mode of payment will be prescribed by the respective schools. Mostly, the registration fee is submitted through cash.
  • Candidates shall note that the form will be considered incomplete without the submission of the registration fee.

Odisha Board plus two registration fees will vary according to the category of candidature.

  • Candidates who are appearing under regular candidature will have to pay Rs. 320 as the registration fee in their respective schools.
  • Candidates who are appearing as a repeater or the candidates appearing under quasi-regular candidature shall pay Rs. 405.
  • Candidates failing to pay the registration fee on the due date shall have to pay a late fee of Rs. 50 along with the regular fee.

CHSE Odisha Registration 2024: Important Guidelines

Odisha Board registration process will be completely in offline mode. The form shall be submitted to the concerned school before the due date. Some important suggestions to be kept in mind at the time of registration are as follows:

  • All the details shall be filled in carefully as the same would be mentioned in Odisha CHSE admit card.
  • No corrections will be allowed in the application form after submission.
  • Overwriting shall be avoided as the board may reject the application.
  • Candidates shall carefully enter the choice of subjects as changes will not be allowed under any circumstances. You will appear only for these subjects in the final exams. 
  • The details in the application form shall match with the initial registration card issued in class 11.
