Candidates with a rank below 5000 can apply to private colleges like Rungta College of Engineering and Technology , Bhilai or Chhatrapati Shivaji Institutes of Technology, Durg.

CG PET 2025 Answer Key
The CG PET 2025 Provisional Answer Key is expected to be released in the second week of May 2025. The candidates must check the answer key properly, in case there is any discrepancy, they should challenge the answer key immediately.
The candidates must make sure that they have valid evidence to support their challenge and they pay the fees of INR 50 per question for the review to start. If the challenge is proven correct then the CG PET 2025 Final Answer Key will be updated accordingly.
CG PET 2025 Result
The CG PET 2025 results will tentatively be announced in the first week of June 2025. The scorecard will be released along with the result so that the candidates will be able to estimate their ranks and the colleges to get admission based on their rank.
Candidates will be able to download their result by logging in using their CG PET 2025 application number and password.

CG PET 2025 Marks vs Rank
Top Rankers: Candidates scoring in the range of 130 - 150 achieve a rank below 500. These candidates are top rankers, they can secure admission in the top colleges such as Bhilai Institutes of Technology or Government Engineering College, Raipur.
Mid Range Rankers: Candidates scoring between 100 - 120 achieve a rank in the range of 1000 - 5000. These candidates can aim for mid tier colleges like Raipur Institute of Technology or Kirodimal Institute of Technology.
Low Rankers: Candidates scoring below 60 and achieving a rank above 12,000 are considered low rankers. It will be tough for them to secure admission but they apply for admission in private colleges in less popular fields.

CG PET 2025 Counselling
The CG PET 2025 Counselling process will begin once the CG PET 2025 results are announced. The CG PET 2025 Counselling is expected to start in July 2025. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh will oversee the CG PET 2025 Counselling.
