Method 1 — Official portal login

1. Open tancet.annauniv.edu in any browser.
2. Click the link that reads "CEETA PG 2026 Result" on the home page.
3. Enter your application number and date of birth (or registered password).
4. Hit Login — your scorecard loads on screen.
5. Download the PDF and take at least two printouts for CEAP verification.

Method 2 — Direct email link

CEETA PG Scorecard 2026: Details & Tie-Breaking

The scorecard is a one-page PDF. It is the document every CEAP-participating institute looks at, so the details on it have to match your application form and ID proofs exactly.

Tie-breaking rules. When two students score the same total, Anna University breaks the tie in this order:

1. Higher marks in Part III (specialisation paper).
2. Higher marks in Part II (basic engineering & sciences).
3. Higher marks in Part I (engineering mathematics).
4. Older candidate by date of birth.

The specialisation paper sits at the top of this ladder because it is the part closest to the M.E. / M.Tech. branch you will study. If you cleared Part III with a strong margin, your rank will hold even if a tie hits.

CEETA PG Qualifying Marks 2026

CEETA PG does not set a fixed qualifying mark in absolute terms. Anna University does not publish a "you need 35 to qualify" line. Instead, the state merit list itself is the qualifying gate — if your name appears in it, you are eligible to register for CEAP 2026 and fill choices.

The CEETA-PG merit list is expected around mid-June 2026 on cfa.annauniv.edu/cfa/ceap.html. GATE candidates get allotted first; CEETA-PG candidates fill the seats that remain.

Step-by-step CEAP plan.

1. Log in at the CEAP portal once the merit list is live and confirm your rank, category, and personal details.
2. Pay the counselling fee online — it is non-refundable, so check the amount once before paying.
3. Report for certificate verification at your assigned centre. Carry the CEETA PG scorecard, hall ticket, UG mark sheets, transfer certificate, community certificate, and Aadhaar.
4. Fill choices — pick branch-institute combinations in your true order of preference. The portal allows up to a few dozen choices.
5. Lock choices before the round-1 deadline. You can edit until the lock, not after.
6. Wait for Round 1 seat allotment in July 2026. If you get a seat you like, pay the partial fee and confirm. If not, slide to Round 2 in July-August.
