BVP BMAT 2024 exam is scheduled on April 07, 2024. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune has released BVP BMAT 2024 application form. You will be able to fill up application form for BVP BMAT 2024 exam in online mode. The last date to apply for BVP BMAT 2024 exam is March 28, 2024.

BMAT 2024 is a university-level test, conducted for admission in MBA programs in colleges associated with Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU). MBA is a full-time 2-year program with courses spread over 4 semesters. The entrance exam consists of core courses requisite for business education.  Qualified candidates have to appear for Group discussions and Personal Interviews for the selection.

BMAT 2024 is an online exam comprised of 200 marks. As per BVP BMAT 2024 exam pattern, the question paper will have 200 MCQ types questions, 50 questions from each section. For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded, there will be no negative marking.

The syllabus for BMAT 2024 consists of four sections namely, Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, English and comprehension, and Management skills. BVP BMAT 2024 result will be declared on April 15, 2024. BVP BMAT 2024 cut off marks will however depend on previous year trends, paper difficulty, number of students appears and qualifies and number of seats available for MBA/ MHA and MCA programs. The combined merit list for both the programmes together will be declared. Separate merit list will be prepared for regular category and Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI/Institutional Quota Merit Category. BVP BMAT 2024 counselling is April 22-April 27, 2024

BMAT 2024 Eligibility

Before initiating BMAT 2024 Registration, candidates should carefully go through the eligibility criteria. 

On the Basis of Nationality

• The applicant should be an Indian national.

On the Basis of Academic Qualification

• The applicant should possess a Bachelor's Degree of at least a 3-year duration, in any discipline, from a recognized University.
• The applicant should also have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% in the case of SC/ST candidates).
• Applicants in the final year of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply, provided that they can present their degree completion certificate/pass certificate within August 26, 2024. 

Age Limit and Number of Attempts

• There is no age limit set for the exam.
• There is no stated limit on the number of times the exam can be attempted.

Additional Requirements:

• Applicants who have pursued their undergraduate program in any medium other than English will have to undergo an orientation course in English at the institute they enroll for MBA.
• Candidates who completed their undergraduate program in a part-time mode are not eligible to apply for BMAT 2024.

How to Apply for BMAT 2024?

BMAT 2024 registration could be done only in online mode. The steps involved in the application process are listed below:

1. Visit the official website admissions.bvuniversity.edu.in
2. Register with a valid email ID & mobile number.
3. Upon successful registration, login credentials will be sent to the registered email ID.
4. Login using the credentials and fill in the details asked – academic details, personal details, etc.
5. Choose the Examination Center from the list provided.
6. Upload scanned images of recent passport-size photographs and signatures as per specifications.:
   • Photograph of Candidate: 3.5cmX45cm dimension not exceeding 50 KB in .jpg or jpeg format.
   • Signature of Candidate: on white paper with a blue/black ballpoint pen of file size not exceeding 50KB in .jpg or jpeg format.
7. Pay the application fee online using either net banking or debit/credit cards.

• BMAT Admit card can be downloaded after the successful submission of the application form.
• Candidates must download and take a printout of the admit card.

BMAT 2024 syllabus covers a range of subjects, undergraduate level Numerical Ability, and Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Quantitative aptitude is at the Competitive Examination level. The indicative list of topics covered in each section is mentioned below:

Current Affairs: The Current Affairs section will consist of questions from static General Knowledge, History, Geography, Current Affairs, National and International happenings in the world of politics, business, trade, and economy, governance, sports, personalities, and awards, books, etc.

Mathematics: The mathematics section will consist of MCQs of various topics studied till Class 10, such as Number Systems, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics & Probability

Quantitative Ability: Quantitative Ability section will consist of questions from topics like Median, Installments, and Payments, Partnership, Clocks, Work and Time, Pipe and Cisterns, Lines, Cubes and Cones, Work and Time, Time, Speed, Distance, Partnership, Mode, BODMAS, etc.

Abstract and Logical Reasoning: Abstract and Logical Reasoning section will include questions from topics like Table, Bars, Pie-Charts, Line Graphs, Blood Relations, Puzzles, Arrangements, Data Structures, Series, Coding-Decoding, Clocks and Calendars, Direction.

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: This section will contain questions that will challenge and analyze the candidates’ knowledge of English Language and comprehension skills. The section will have questions from English Grammar and will require candidates to answer questions on the basis of given passages, fill in the blanks, word meaning, a different form of word usage, etc.

Computer Awareness: This section will test the candidates’ basic knowledge of computers.

Management skills: This section will check the candidates; flair for business and management and their general attitude towards the field.

BMAT 2024 Result

The merit list was hosted on the official website for ease of access by candidates. The candidates could download their BMAT 2024 scorecard in the following steps:

1. Visit the official BVU website.
2. Select the tab ‘BVP BMAT 2024’.
3. Enter the candidate roll number and click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
4. The Scorecard will be displayed on-screen
5. Download and print the document for future reference.

BMAT 2024 scorecard carried individual candidate’s sectional scores, overall scores, and rank secured. Based on that rank and institutional quota, a merit list was prepared.

BVP BMAT 2024 Selection Procedure

• Candidates taking the entrance exam also have to appear in the selection rounds (GD/PI) in the same exam hall as that of the entrance exam.
• Written test along with GDPI is considered for the final selection of candidates.
• Candidates who score the minimum cut-off score are called for the GDPI round. The two rounds assess the candidates as mentioned below:
  • Group Discussion: Candidates are evaluated in the Group Discussion Exercise of their ability to apply logic and reasons. Group discussion brings out the candidates’ ability to make decisions and management skills are highlighted. 
  • Personal Interview: The candidates’ overall personality and confidence is assessed in this round. Candidates should confidently answer questions related to his/her own academic area and work experience.
