Nationality and Domicile

• CBSE, ICSE, or any other recognised board Class 10 examination
• Open School Class 10 from APOSS or NIOS
• Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh

Mathematics is a compulsory subject in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have not studied Mathematics in Class 10 are not eligible for AP POLYCET.

Candidates Appearing in Class 10

Candidates who are appearing in the SSC examination in 2026 could also apply for AP POLYCET 2026. However, their admission will be confirmed only after they pass the qualifying exam and produce their mark sheet at the time of certificate verification.

Minimum Marks in AP POLYCET to Qualify

There is no minimum percentage requirement in SSC to appear for AP POLYCET. However, to qualify in the AP POLYCET exam itself and get a rank, candidates must score:

If you are preparing for AP POLYCET 2027, or if you plan to improve your score in a future attempt, here are practical preparation tips that will help you score well in AP POLYCET:

1. Understand the Exam Pattern and Syllabus First

Before you start preparing, go through the official AP POLYCET syllabus and exam pattern. The exam has 120 questions from Maths (50), Physics (40), and Chemistry (30) — all based on Class 10 level. Knowing what to study saves time and keeps your preparation focused.

2. Focus Extra on Mathematics (50 Marks)

Mathematics carries 50 out of 120 marks — the single biggest section. Give it extra time in your daily study schedule. Topics like Algebra, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Co-ordinate Geometry, and Statistics are the most frequently tested. Practise at least 10–15 problems per topic every day.

3. Use AP State Board Class 10 Textbooks

AP POLYCET questions are directly based on the AP State Board Class 10 Maths, Physics, and Chemistry textbooks. These should be your primary study materials. NCERT Class 10 books are also useful for Physics and Chemistry, as many concepts overlap with the AP Board syllabus.

4. Solve Previous Year AP POLYCET Question Papers
