ACT exam is for the high school students willing to study undergraduate courses and is preferred mainly by the colleges in America. Students appearing for the ACT exam need to be aware regarding the ACT exam pattern that consists of four subjects including english, math, science, reading and writing. However, the ACT has the guidelines to also provide support and accommodations to students with documented disabilities. Types of ACT Accommodations

Step 1: Register for the ACT online through the website providing details of the ACT test center. Students need to sign up before the deadline based on ACT exam dates preferred. Registration would require you to include the kind of ACT accommodations the student needs.
Step 2: After ACT Registration, students will receive an email from the ACT Inc., explaining how the students need to work with the school for submitting the documentations for ACT Test accommodations by forwarding the mail to school.
Step 3: The school shall submit the requested documents to ACT Inc., and within two weeks of submission the ACT would notify the school and the latter would contact the student for the r4esults and next steps.
Tips to Apply for ACT Accommodations
While it is tough to receive ACT accommodations it is important for students to consider certain aspects while applying for the accommodations. These are as follows:
- Students might find it difficult to get ACT accommodations in case they did not receive it during their school.
- Students might not receive ACT accommodations in the form of ACT extended time or ACT special testing if they do not provide documented disability
- Students need to be aware that ACT test accommodations do not require extra ACT fees and hence, despite being a complicated process should request them
- Effectively, students need to ask their school for help regarding the ACT test accommodations, especially when you live in a state where all students are required to take the test.
